Kelly & Andrew’s Toronto Wedding at Gladstone House | DJ XTC Entertainment

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Kelly & Andrew’s wedding at the iconic Gladstone House (formerly Gladstone Hotel) in downtown Toronto. Known for its bold art-forward vibe and boutique elegance, Gladstone House set the perfect stage for a wedding that was equal parts sophisticated and joyfully spirited.

The Couple

From our very first chat, it was clear Kelly & Andrew had a vision: an inclusive, upbeat party with meaningful touches and music that spanned generations. They wanted disco, Motown, pop-punk, and classic rock—no country or reggae—just good vibes that everyone could enjoy. Their trust in our music curation gave us the creative freedom to read the room and keep the energy flowing from the ceremony to the final dance.

Their love for each other was visible in every little detail—from the way they smiled at each other during the vows to the way they danced together long after the formalities ended. This wedding was never just about the celebration; it was about the journey they’ve shared, and the new one they’re embarking on together.

Every inch of the space reflected Kelly & Andrew's personalities. The ambient lighting, the art-filled corridors, and the stylish details helped create an atmosphere that was both timeless and trendsetting. The Ceremony

Set to a unique soundtrack handpicked by the couple, their ceremony music was heartfelt and unconventional:

The vibe was intimate, emotional, and personal—everything a ceremony should be. It was a testament to their relationship—warm, relaxed, and rooted in deep friendship.

The Crowd

What made this night extra special? The incredible mix of guests from all over the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area, as well as Miami, Newfoundland, and Spain. We’re talking multiple generations on the dancefloor—from parents and extended family to the couple’s friends from out of town. Everyone showed up with energy, style, and serious moves!

It was a truly multicultural gathering, which added to the joyful atmosphere. We witnessed tearful reunions, spontaneous dance-offs, and even a few moments where three generations were dancing side-by-side—something that rarely happens without the perfect music and energy.

The Music

We designed a musical journey that honoured Kelly & Andrew’s favourite sounds:

Dinner: Soulful classics and light acoustic hits from Bill Withers, Al Green, and Jack Johnson
Cocktail Hour: Upbeat Motown and funk grooves to set the tone
Dancefloor: Everything from Earth, Wind & Fire to Blink-182, Whitney Houston to Daft Punk, Bon Jovi to Bad Bunny

The late-night set turned all the way up with high-energy party tracks, 2000s throwbacks, and rock singalongs that had guests screaming lyrics and sweating through their suits. (Yes, Mr. Brightside hit hard!)

One moment that stood out? The dancefloor erupted when Spirit of the West’s "Home For a Rest" dropped—a perfectly timed nod to their East Coast guests. It was the kind of wedding where every single song told part of the story.
