Hockley Valley Restort Open House 2024

DJ XTC Entertainment got to hang out at the cool and stylish Hockley Valley Resort for their Wedding Open House on Saturday March 23, 2024. Thinking back on it, I'm still buzzing from the excitement of all those happy couples, the chit-chat about wedding dreams, and the stunning views that set the scene for an epic Saturday.

From the get-go at 1 pm until the wrap-up at 5 pm, our spot was alive with music, laughter, and the warm glow of our lighting setups. It was super cool to meet so many wonderful folks, talking about how to make their big day perfect and sharing a bit of our magic with them. Connecting with each couple, not just as a service provider but on a real personal level, was the best part for me.

It was also a blast to see some of our vendor friends and make new connections. The vibe was all about coming together to make wedding dreams come true, and you could really feel the love in the air.

We're filled with gratitude for the new friends we've made and excited about the parties we'll help rock in the future. Big thanks to Hockley Valley Resort for organizing such a fantastic event and to everyone who stopped by to say hi.

DJ XTC Entertainment at Hockley Valley Resort's Open House

DJ XTC Entertainment was an exhibitor at Hockley Valley Resort's Open House on January 29, 2023. The Open House was located in both the Montclair Ballroom and the Aida Ballrooms. We had the pleasure of exhibiting in the Aida Ballroom.

The event was open to engaged couples who are planning their wedding; they had a venue tour, met with exhibitors, asked questions and got ideas to help them with planning their own big day.

When I arrived at the resort, they directed me to the lower level banquet room. There our smaller dj booth was set up in the Aida Ballroom. Next I walked around and introduced myself to other wedding vendors that we shared the ballroom with so we could all chat, get to know each other better and share wedding vendor solutions with one another.

After this process of making new contacts, having a bit of food and introducing ourselves to some visiting engaged couples, more and more people came into our room. Although the morning had a large snowfall, by the afternoon, we received a decent amount of traffic throughout the day. It was friendly, productive and laid back - which made all our interactions organic and relaxed

We had the chance to show off our wide variety of entertainment resources. At the event, we showcased our DJ, MC, as well as our event planning expertise.
